About the Jazz Disciples:
Since 2003, Jazz Disciples has been bringing the Big Band sound to the Puget Sound region.
A full complement of trumpets, trombones, saxo- phones, rhythm and vocal sections make for an exciting concert for all ages.
Under the directorship of Jim Kelsey, twenty-five volunteer musicians with a passion for gospel hymns, 1940s Big Band Swing, and patriotic music perform in this unique music ministry.
With over 100 concerts, award-winning Jazz Disciples has performed at The Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Bite of Seattle, Pierce County Prayer Breakfast, Capitol Rotunda in Olympia, multiple festivals, churches, senior events, retirement communities, and private venues.
