RENEW: Renewing the Faith, Choosing Courage

This walk of faith is a challenge! It’s always been a challenge even for the “heroes” of the faith! Trusting God is not as easy as we’d like it to be and when our trust meets life’s challenges our trust in God is not as strong as we hoped it would be. Last week we looked at faith of Esther! She chose to trust God even though she didn’t know what the outcome would be. This week we look at the faith of Rahab, a woman whose legacy echoes through the halls of history. It all centers on one courageous act, one critical decision.

ADVENT: The Promise Remembered

Advent is about waiting. For Israel, they were waiting for the Messiah, which was fulfilled when Jesus Christ was born. But for us today, Advent is also about waiting for Christ’s second coming when Jesus will return and reign over all nations, all people everywhere and for all eternity.

ADVENT: The Promise Forgotten
